Aim and Scope.
Main aim of the meeting is to investigate, both from modeling and analytical point of view, multiphase advanced materials, which represent a new challenging field in theoretical and technological research. In particular, the workshop will be focused on the following subjects:

Shape memory effects
Liquid crystals
Bio-materials
Ferromagnetic materials
Two-phase fluids
Gas storage in alloys
Polymers

The complexity of these materials demands the joint contribution of several knowledge, ranging from experiments and modeling to the mathematical analysis of PDEs and to computations. The purpose of the workshop is hence to stimulate an interdisciplinary discussion on this topics and to review the recent developments in the field.
